EDMONTON — An Edmontonian could be nearly $50 million richer after a locally purchased ticket won a massive Lotto 6/49 prize on Wednesday night.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, the one ticket that claimed the entire $49,851,871 prize was bought in Edmonton, although the winner and exact location of the purchase was not released.
The winning numbers were 4, 22, 26, 29, 39 and 48. The bonus number was 31. The Extra numbers were 1, 5, 6, 1, 3, 2, and 8.
